Who We Are
My name is Brad Scott and my wife Amy and my boys Caleb and Joshua all work together to bring you the finest Australian Labradoodle puppies available. We live on a 2.8-acre property located in Ramona, California within the county of San Diego. Our dogs live in our home or with loving guardian homes. I am a native San Diegan and have always loved animals, especially dogs. We love the outdoors and enjoy activities such as camping, back packing, hiking, hunting, skiing, surfing, and weightlifting. We are also very involved with our community and especially enjoy working with the youth of San Diego. Whenever possible we bring our furry friends with us on our adventures. Amy is an elementary school teacher. When she was young, she was heavily involved in 4H and raised pigs and lambs, but especially enjoyed raising Labrador Retrievers as guide dogs for the blind. I am so excited that I can now provide the opportunity for other families to bring into their homes these wonderful, sweet, loving, companions. It is extremely important to us to breed responsibly. We do extensive health testing for all our breeding dogs and guarantee to provide healthy puppies to our forever home families.

How We Got Started
I have always loved science and animals. When I was young, I had dreams of becoming a veterinarian but dismissed that idea because of my allergies. I have always wanted to work with animals and just never made the transition from a stable science job to working with animals. I love science, but I was excited when the opportunity became available to raise puppies. My mother-in-law needed extra care and I was able to move from a very small house in the city to a large house in the country, with a main home and a granny flat on 2.8 acres. By combining forces, I was able to help my mother-in-law and I was also able to move into a property that was perfect for raising puppies and for my dogs to enjoy themselves. My wife and mother-in-law also love animals and have been totally supportive of my passion for dogs.
Why Australian Labradoodles?
Dogs have been a big part of my life and they have brought so many wonderful memories. I grew up with extreme allergies and asthma as a kid. When I was young, I had a love for animals but had to take allergy pills and a trip to the hospital every month for allergy shots. The shots were really no fun at all. My allergies eventually improved, and I only had to take pills as I got older. At the age of 10, we were finally able to get our first family dog, a Cocker Spaniel. Although I no longer take shots or pills, it means a lot for me to breed dogs that are allergy friendly. I don’t think any dog is truly hypo-allergenic, but I do know some dog breeds are much worse for me than others. The Australian Labradoodle is allergy friendly for me and many other people. There are other allergy friendly dogs out there, so why an Australian Labradoodle? My wife used to raise Labrador Retrievers. According to the American Kennel Club (2020), Labrador retrievers have been the most popular breed in the United States, since 1991. Labs are super sweet, friendly, smart, and easy to train. The Standard Poodle is also often reported as the smartest dog breed, only behind the Border Collie. I enjoy having a smart dog in my home. Labs are great dogs, but they shed all over the place and were horrible for my allergies when I was young. I believe the mix of Poodle, Cocker Spaniel, and Labrador Retriever, which is the foundation of the Australian Labradoodle, produces the best canine companion for families, especially for those that have allergy issues. Australian Labradoodles are so sweet, and it is so important for us to have dogs that we can trust around small children. We often have small children in our home, and we do not want to take a risk of a child being bitten or nipped. Overall, we just felt the Australian Labradoodle is the perfect dog for us and for so many other families.
